It's the second day of Putin's official visit to India - with delegation talks expected soon. Ahead of his trip the Russian president spoke to the prominent news outlet India Today during which he praised Narendra Modi and the strong ties between the countries. Vladimir Putin and our network's editor-in-chief, Margarita Simonyan, are expected to attend the launch of our new channel - RT India - to broadcast news, analytical shows and much more.
